About

Joy-Anne Mowbray BSc BArch MA(AA) PGDip

RIBA Chartered Architect with 20 years experience, specialising in architectural design and interiors, planning applications and building regulations approvals.

Joy-Anne received the Best Final Year Student award from the University of Dundee, and the Eden scholarship to read her Masters in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association. She was the highest achieving student at both the Architectural Association and the University of Westminster Postgraduate Chartership. She continues her links with academia as a visiting lecturer at the Architectural Association and a Professional Examiner at Oxford Brookes School of Architecture.

She began her career at Grimshaw and Johnson Pilton Walker on large scale, public projects including The Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney Opera House, St.Botolph’s Commercial offices in the City of London, Bournemouth Winter gardens and the Belfast Harbour Commissioners masterplan. Since leaving corporate practice Joy-Anne has focused on listed hotels and country wedding venues, bespoke residential and interiors projects.
