I initially employed Joy-Anne Mowbray of Toucan Architecture to do the drawings and manage the planning application process for an external spiral staircase to replace a straight decaying wooden one. I subsequently asked Joy-Anne to manage the process of tendering for a contractor to do the job, as I was nervous about doing so myself. Joy-Anne has provided an excellent service with the refurbishment of my dated house. She redesigned parts of the internal layout which creates a much more contemporary space to live in and she provided an excellent interior design service. She also provided advice on some exterior changes, including a change of colours and finishes which have transformed the exterior of the house and given it great kerb appeal.
